Dr Farhana Ferdousi Liza's main area of focus is deep learning for natural language processing (NLP). She has a PhD degree in Computer Science specilizing Artificial Intelligence for text data and since then have been working exclusively in machine learning, deep learning and mostly in NLP. From 2019 to 2021, she has provided data science consultancy for public sectors as part of a ESRC project, focusing mainly on NLP.
